At the time of ordering tests, your QMSC doctors will advise you regarding recommended follow up of your test results. Follow up appointments should be with the doctor who has ordered the tests. This appointment may be by Telehealth or face-to-face.

Will You Be Charged For Follow Up Of Test Results?

Where results are completely normal, the doctor may choose to bulk bill this follow up appointment. This is at the discretion of the treating doctor.

If your follow up appointment is not with the doctor who has ordered the test, regular fees are likely to apply, as the doctor will not be familiar with your health history and why these tests were ordered. It will take more time for them to review your results considering your history and management plan.

Where results are abnormal, this requires further discussion and management planning. A regular account is usually applicable.

If any other matters not related to your results, are raised or discussed at this follow up appointment, regular fees are likely to apply.
