RESPONDING TO YOUR FEEDBACK

We are mindful of the increasing cost of healthcare and the fact your government Medicare rebate is no longer able to cover the full costs. Continue to write to your local Member of Parliament about the need for the government to address this issue.

From 15^th July 2024 we have introduced changes to our appointments, to improve access to timely and affordable health care. These changes include:

1. More ón the day’ appointments for GP Urgent Care. Private fees.
2. More quick telehealth appointments with your regular GP for repeat scripts, repeat referrals and pathology request forms for upcoming appointments. These are reduced out-of-pocket expense appointments.
3. New ‘team care’ appointments for straightforward follow up and treatment for our regular patients. Your GP or nurse will direct you to these appointments if you are eligible. These are reduced out-of-pocket or bulk billed appointments, where the nurse and GP manage your care.
4. More multidisciplinary team-based care for chronic disease management, health assessments and medication reviews. These are bulk billed by all our practitioners and can occur every 3 months for most chronic diseases.
