About
MBBS FRACGP
I graduated with honours from the University of Western Australia in 2010 always knowing that I wanted to be GP. I chose different hospital specialties that would be of the most benefit to me in the General Practice Field – Emergency medicine, Paediatric Emergency Medicine, General Medicine, General Surgery and a brief stint in Intensive Care. I felt I needed a bit more experience in obstetric, gynaecology and paediatric medicine so took matters into my own hands and started my own family in 2012.
Being a GP has been everything I hoped it would be – managing a huge variety of medicine and getting to know my patients and their families – and I love it. I try and help my patients to be the best and healthiest they can be, with a strong focus on holistic and patient centred care. I’ve since completed the Sydney Child Health Program through the Sydney Children’s Hospitals Network and the FPAA Doctors Certificate in Reproductive and Sexual Health, and my areas of interest now include the management of unplanned pregnancy and medical termination of pregnancy.
When I’m not at work I’m a regular Mum trying to juggle all the balls, ideally with a coffee and a book under my arm catching some rays at the beach.
