Please note: Dr Bourke is unable to take on anymore patients for ongoing medical management of eating disorders at this time.
I completed my medical degree at the University of Western Australia in 2011. I have a keen interest in exercise, health and the human body. Prior to my medical degree I completed a bachelors degree in exercise and health science at UWA and a bachelors degree in physiotherapy at Curtin University. I worked as a hospital based physiotherapist for several years prior to and during my medical training.
As a doctor I have worked at Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital and Princess Margaret Hospital. I started my General Practice training in 2016. During this time my husband and I had our two beautiful boys. I love being a mum and I love being a doctor. I enjoy all aspects of general medicine and have a particular interest in children’s health, musculoskeletal injury, healthy ageing and women’s health.
