  • Dr Krischelle McCallum

Currently providing COVID-19 care and vaccinations only
    MBBS FRACGP

I graduated with honours from the University of Western Australia in 2010 always knowing that I wanted to be GP. I chose different hospital specialties that would be of the most benefit to me in the General Practice Field - Emergency medicine, Paediatric Emergency Medicine, General Medicine, General Surgery and a brief stint in Intensive Care. I felt I needed a bit more experience in obnstetric, gynaecology and paediatric medicine so took matters into my own hands and started my own family in 2012

Being a GP has been everything I hoped it would be - managing a huge variety of medicine and getting to know my patients and their family - and I love it. I try and help my patients to be the best and healthiest they can be, with a strong focus on holistic and patient centred care.

When I'm not at work I'm a regular Mum trying to juggle all the balls, ideally with a coffee and a book under my arm catching some rays at the beach

  • Dr Jonathan Chia
    MBBS FRACGP

I completed my MBBS at the University of Western Australia in 2012 after having spent my childhood in Singapore. I decided to stay in Australia to practice as I enjoyed the community and the holistic approach to healthcare.

Following graduation, I spent 4 post-graduate years in Royal Perth Hospital, Kalgoorlie Hospital, Bunbury Hospital, Bentley Hospital, King Edward Memorial Hospital, Armadale Hospital and St John of God Hospital. I initially embarked on training to be a geriatrician but had a change of mind as I wanted to have the continuity of care and practice preventative health which is offered in practicing as a GP.

I began my career in General Practice in 2017 and have not looked back since. I have vast experience through my hospital years in adult and geriatric medicine. I enjoy managing chronic disease and recognise the importance of reviewing medications regularly and de-prescribing unnecessary medications. I completed a Diploma in Child Health(Sydney University) to cover my little paediatric experience while doing my hospital rotations and enjoy seeing children and interacting with them.

I am a Catholic doctor and do not provide prescriptions for contraception and referrals for termination. I advocate for the sympto-thermal method of Natural Family Planning (NFP) and am embarking in further education in NFP. I am happy to share my knowledge to any person looking for a hormone-free, side effect free approach to family planning.

I am a busy father of 2 young children - a 2 1/2 year old and newborn. I enjoy spending as much time as possible with my family when I'm not at work but also try to fit in strength training at the gym and playing on my Playstation, while reading medical literature to keep my knowledge as current as possible. I also love to cook and do some gardening when my schedule allows.

I have worked extensively in Papua and New Guinea and many asian countries and am currently working at Curtin University and Quinns Mindarie Super Clinic.
